Join Us!
The 2009 Angels Among Us had an amazing attendance of 3,500 people with over 300 teams. These wonderful people came from all over the country and in all team sizes...from a team of one, to a team of hundreds, and raised $1,410,540.70!
We hope you will join our team and be with us in 2010, for the best ever Angels Among Us!
Although many people participate as individuals or families, the real backbone of Angels Among Us are the teams. These teams gather together to celebrate life, to remember and honor the strength and courage of our loved ones, and to raise funds for brain tumor research.
Check the Team List to make sure the team name you want is not duplicated or too similar to other team names. This will avoid confusion for people who want to register or donate for your team.
All Angel teams who plan to participate in the 2010 Angels Among Us need to send an email to Ellen Stainback with the following information:
- Team Name
- Team Captain
- Email address…IMPORTANT! All updates are sent to team captains via email. Please send us any email changes so you will not miss any of the valuable information sent from our office.
- Address
- Phone number (include area code)

LeAnn and Cameron Jackson at the 2009 Angels Among Us event.
Cameron was diagnosed in February, 2008, with Medulloblastoma. After his surgery, Cameron endured months of radiation and chemotherapy along with physical therapy to learn how to walk again. During this time, he would often say “I just want to be able to run and play again!” One year later and cancer free, Cameron ran the last 50 yards of the Angels Among Us 5K with his mom, LeAnn; crossing the finish line after the greatest battle of his life.
